Chemical Marketing Associates Inc. was established in 1979 with the function of supplying raw materials to the rubber and plastics industry.  All personnel in the company have rubber and/or oil backgrounds.

 Our office is located in Houston, Texas with additional sales people in Akron, Ohio.  Since 1979 we have marketed oil, carbon black, and synthetic rubber.

 In addition to the domestic business, we have an operation in Mexico for the sale of base oils, primarily into the lubricant industry.  This base oil business consists of moving barges of oil to Brownsville, TX and establishing rateable base oil business with major companies in Mexico.   We have extensive contacts within Mexico in the oil and rubber industries.

 Chemical Marketing employs eight people of whom six have either a technical or business degree and work in sales or administrative functions. Our primary markets for oils are to the rubber, base oil, and plastics industries.  We market paraffinic, naphthenic, and aromatic oils.

 We work closely with the technical and marketing groups of the refineries that we represent.  We believe that the customer should know the producer of the oil, and the refiner should back up the quality of the product that we sell.
